Who writes Yaqeen's guides?
Guides credited to the Yaqeen Editorial Team are published by Yaqeen, the marketplace. This is an organizational byline, not a claim that a named independent reviewer has tested every device. A guide does not certify the individual products listed by sellers.
What do we use as evidence?
- Manufacturer documentation for specifications, with the model and regional variant identified.
- Official government and network-operator information for registration procedures.
- Yaqeen's published terms for fees, inspection and disputes.
- Active listing samples for seller asking prices, with the sample size and observation time shown.
Sources are linked in the guide. Manufacturer specifications describe a model when new; they do not prove the battery condition, repairs, accessories or capabilities of a used unit. Verify those with the seller.
Are the prices in guides current market prices?
Not necessarily. An active listing price is a seller's request, not a completed sale or a market average. Listing samples are limited and can change between refreshes. Older guides may include indicative price estimates; those are not live quotes. Compare the same model, storage, condition and registration status before treating prices as comparable.
Where current evidence is insufficient, use the live catalogue and confirm the price and availability directly. No model mentioned in a guide is promised to be in stock or within a given budget.
How should you interpret PTA and seller badges?
Seller identity checks and device checks are separate. PTA status is declared by the seller and should be checked independently through official channels. Yaqeen does not provide an official PTA verification integration. Carrier lock, ownership access and hardware condition need separate checks.
What do publication and update dates mean?
The publication date identifies the original guide. An update date marks a substantive editorial revision. It does not mean every device was physically tested or every market price was resurveyed. Listing observation times are separate from editorial dates.
