Terms of Service

Yaqeen ("we," "us," "our") operates the marketplace at yaqeenpk.com. We connect verified sellers with buyers for electronics transactions in Pakistan. Yaqeen is NOT a party to the sale. We provide the platform, escrow, and dispute resolution services.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have a valid Pakistani phone number.
• Sellers must complete CNIC verification before listing items.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts will be terminated.

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access caused by your negligence.
• You must provide accurate information during registration and verification.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

• CNIC Verification: Sellers must verify their identity with a valid CNIC before listing any item. Verification is reviewed manually by our team.
• Accurate Listings: All listings must accurately describe the item's condition, specifications, PTA status, and any defects. Misrepresentation is grounds for account termination.
• IMEI Disclosure: Phone sellers should provide the IMEI number. Listings with blocked or stolen IMEIs will be removed and the seller reported.
• Shipping: Sellers must ship within 48 hours of escrow activation. Failure to ship may result in order cancellation and trust score reduction.
• Dispatch Video: Sellers should record a packaging/dispatch video as evidence of item condition at time of shipment.

• Inspection: Buyers must inspect the item promptly upon receipt. You have 72 hours from delivery to confirm receipt or raise a dispute.
• Unboxing Video: We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video. In disputes, video evidence significantly strengthens your claim.
• Good Faith: Filing false disputes, claiming non-receipt for items that were delivered, or attempting return fraud will result in permanent account ban.
• Auto-Release: If you do not confirm or dispute within 72 hours, escrow funds will be automatically released to the seller.

• All transactions go through Yaqeen's escrow system. The buyer's payment is held by Yaqeen until the buyer confirms receipt.
• Yaqeen charges an escrow protection fee:
  • Under ₨30,000: ₨400
  • ₨30,000 – ₨100,000: ₨500
  • Over ₨100,000: ₨1,000
• The protection fee is non-refundable once the order is placed.
• Yaqeen is not a bank or payment processor. Escrow funds are held in a designated business bank account.
• Payouts to sellers are processed manually after buyer confirmation. Processing may take 1–3 business days.

• Buyers may file a dispute within 72 hours of receiving an item.
• Disputes require evidence: photos, videos (unboxing video preferred), and a written description.
• Sellers will be notified and given 48 hours to respond with their own evidence.
• Yaqeen's team reviews both sides and issues a resolution. Possible outcomes: full refund, partial refund, exchange, or no action.
• Yaqeen's dispute resolution decision is final.
• Off-platform evidence is not accepted. Conversations, agreements, or payments made outside Yaqeen cannot be used in dispute resolution.

• Stolen devices or devices with blocked IMEIs.
• Counterfeit or replica products marketed as genuine.
• Any item that is illegal to sell under Pakistani law.
• Attempting to transact outside Yaqeen's escrow system.
• Sharing contact information (phone, email, WhatsApp, social media) in chat messages to circumvent platform fees.
• Creating multiple accounts, fake reviews, or manipulating trust scores.
• Harassment, threats, or abusive language toward other users or Yaqeen staff.

All content on yaqeenpk.com, including design, logos, text, and code, is owned by Yaqeen. Sellers retain ownership of their listing photos but grant Yaqeen a non-exclusive license to display them on the platform.

• Yaqeen is a marketplace platform, not a buyer or seller. We facilitate transactions but do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed items.
• Our liability is limited to the escrow protection fee paid for the relevant transaction.
• We are not liable for shipping damage, courier delays, or losses caused by third-party services.
• We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to secure your credentials.

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Yaqeen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Lahore, Pakistan.
