How do I check if a phone is PTA approved?

Every phone listing on Yaqeen clearly shows its PTA status: Approved, JV (Joint Venture), or Non-PTA. We verify IMEI numbers against PTA records so you know exactly what you're buying before you pay.

Can I pay Cash on Delivery?

+
Some sellers offer COD. You can filter listings by 'Cash on Delivery' on the browse page. However, we recommend using escrow payments for maximum protection. Your money is held safely until you confirm the product is as described.

Selling on Yaqeen

How do I sell on Yaqeen?

What does CNIC verification involve?

+
You upload a clear photo of your CNIC (front and back) and a selfie holding it. Our team manually verifies your identity within 24 hours. This protects buyers and builds your reputation as a trusted seller.

+
Yaqeen currently supports phones, laptops, gaming consoles, cameras, accessories, and home appliances. We're focused on electronics where trust and verification matter most.

Payments & Escrow

What is escrow and how does it work?

+
Escrow is a secure payment method where Yaqeen holds the buyer's money in a protected account until the transaction is complete. The seller ships the item, the buyer inspects it, and only then is the money released. Neither party can lose money unfairly.

Which payment methods does Yaqeen accept?

+
Yaqeen supports bank transfers, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and other popular Pakistani payment methods for escrow deposits. Sellers receive payouts directly to their bank accounts.

What if the buyer and seller disagree?

+
Our dispute resolution team reviews evidence from both sides: photos, unboxing videos, and chat messages. The team makes a fair decision within 48 hours. The escrowed money is released to the rightful party based on the evidence.

Trust & Safety

How does the trust score work?

+
Every seller has a trust score from 0 to 100 based on CNIC verification, completed transactions, buyer ratings, response time, and dispute history. Sellers with 90+ trust score earn 'Certified Seller' status.

Can I report a suspicious listing?

+
Yes. Every listing has a 'Report' button. Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. Confirmed fraudulent listings are removed and the seller faces account suspension.

What happens to scammers on Yaqeen?

+
Accounts involved in confirmed fraud are permanently banned. Their CNIC is blocklisted so they cannot create new accounts. We also report serious fraud cases to the relevant authorities.
