How Yaqeen Works: Identity, Payments and Buyer Checks

What is Yaqeen?

Yaqeen is a marketplace for pre-owned electronics in Pakistan. Buyers can compare seller photos, asking prices, condition and identity verification badges, then use the escrow order process. It is separate from Yaqeen Institute.

What does a seller identity badge establish?

An approved badge reflects a review of submitted identity evidence. It does not certify the device, its ownership history, hardware condition or PTA registration. Check the exact item and the seller's written disclosures.

How does payment work?

Yaqeen checks payment before the seller ships. Inspect the item within 72 hours of delivery and confirm receipt or raise a dispute. Funds are released following buyer confirmation or an inspection-window review, subject to the published terms. Dispute outcomes depend on evidence; they are not guaranteed refunds. The protection fee and delivery costs should be understood before placing an order.

What should you verify yourself?

• Read the fees, inspection and dispute terms.
• Check each phone IMEI through official channels and inspect carrier lock separately.
• Ask for recent photos, disclosed faults and evidence for the exact device.
• Keep the order and relevant conversations on the platform.

Is a transaction risk-free?
